Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT)

* The PCAT is administered 3x/year through a Pearson VUE certified testing center.

* Total testing time = about 4.5 hours with a rest break part way through the exam.

* 5 multiple choice subtests and also a writing subtest make up the 6 parts to the test.

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Reading Comprehension
• Quantitative Ability
• Verbal Ability

* Test Scoring Information:

• Each of the 5 multiple choice tests are scored individually
• A composite score of the 5 multiple choice tests are given
• A separate writing score is given

* Test scores are released about 5 weeks after taking the test.
